I started my morning with shopping. Been looking for something to wear to an event in mid November and no luck. But luck was on my side today. Found an really cute top for about $20. I also got some $185 boots for $35 (I love DSW). Yes the "bargain shopping" Gods were with me today. Headed home enjoying the drive in this beautiful 75 degree weather..and they were playing Prince on the radio. Does it get any better?
Today is my diet cheat day so I can eat whatever I want, no guilt and I just get back on track the next day. Today's treat was a Chik-filet sandwich. Yummy! And the day aint over yet. There will be some chocolate consumption somewhere down the line.
Had some great phone calls with friends. Lots of laughs. Caught up on some reading and then had a relaxing bubble bath. After that and getting all lotioned, perfumed and powdered up I slid between some freshly laundered sheets for a nice, long nap. I'm headed to dinner with my husband now and the goodness continues. The "smooth day" Gods were also with me. Have to acknowledge good where ever you find it. Thank you for that. Yes, today was a good day!
